What Did Peter Say About Jesus?

Do you realize how many Christians have never paid no attention to the words of Peter and what he said about Jesus? I know I only did when it came to salvation, but I never took the time to REALLY read what he said originally about Jesus in the Book of Acts, and to be honest, I figured I did not need to because of what I assumed to my early encounter with my original church and their teachings. But below I want to share a short article written by a friend and brother of mine named Roy Moore

This is literally what Peter said who Jesus is to the Jews in Jerusalem after Jesus had ascended "to My God and your God" <Jn 20:17>

22 “Ye men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth,

a Man approved of God among you by miracles, wonders, and signs, which God did through Him among you, as ye yourselves also know —

23 Him, being delivered by the determinate will and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken and by wicked hands have crucified and slain.

24 But God has raised Him up, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it.

25 For David speaks concerning Him:

‘I beheld the LORD always before my face, for He is on my right hand, that I should not be moved.

26 Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope,

27 because You <God>  wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt Thou suffer Thine Holy One <i.e.CHRIST JESUS>  to see corruption.

28 You have made known to me the ways of life;

You shalt make me full of joy with Thy countenance.’
.....

29 “Men and brethren, let me freely speak to you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulcher is with us to this day.

30 Therefore, being a prophet and knowing that God had sworn an oath to him that from the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh He would raise up Christ to sit on his throne,

31 David, foreseeing this, spoke concerning the resurrection of Christ that ‘His s
....oul was not left in hell, neither did His flesh see corruption.’

32 This Jesus hash God raised up, of which we are all witnesses.

33 Therefore,  being exalted by the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, He has shed forth this which ye now see and hear.

34 For David is not ascended into the heavens, but he himself saith, ‘The LORD said to my Lord, “Sit Thou on My right hand

35 until I make *your* foes  *your* footstool.”’

36 “Therefore let all the house of Israel

know assuredly that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.”
....

Questions.

Why did Peter not say what we heard in church:
"Jesus IS God" "God the Son" "God in three persons", "God incarnate" "The Trinity", "Jesus is fully God and fully man", or mention "Deity of Christ"?

The truth above is what Peter did confess, testify, and  preach.

He did so in Acts 2,3,4,5, and 10 and *never* used the words that we heard in church.

"PROVE ALL THINGS".

Test for yourself.

BIBLE WORD SEARCH.
test those words and phrases before repeating what we all thought we knew because others said it.
