J. Vernon McGee admits you should only pray to the Father

Image
Whoa, say it is not so but whoa. The popular J. Vernon Mcgee who was a very famous radio preacher has said in one of his books that we as Christians should ONLY be praying to the Father! My friend what do you think about that? Is this shocking or have you even heard of this man? Can I tell you something on a personal level. I AGREE with his observation, and I will tell you something else, so would the Lord Jesus Christ! Did not Jesus say in Matthew 6:2 " when you pray say Our Father "? Is this not consider prayer TO Father? I think so too in fact the disciples also would agree because in the Book of Acts 4th chapter we read their story of how they were brought before the chief priest and the elders and threatened to no longer teach in the name of Jesus! but let us look at their prayer; Acts 4:24-31- And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in the...

Epistle Salvation, is that what you have?

Image
Have you ever considered if you were really born again? What if you found out that you really were not saved that time you "accepted Christ as your personal Savior? "Would you be upset? I know who am I to question YOUR salvation right? I am not questioning your salvation; I am just asking a question because what I present today in this post is something worth sharing and hopefully cause someone to really consider where they are with God when it comes to a subject that effects their eternity. There is a lot of good bible believing God fearing people in this world today who sincerely in their heart love God and they love the Lord Jesus Christ. I believe many people have truly tried to do what they thought was the right thing to do when they decided to "get saved". I would like to share with you something from the bottom of my heart and I do truly mean what I say. I asked you earlier what if you found out that you really were not saved? The reason I ask you this is I...

A Man

Image
Do you know Jesus said that He was a man? John 8:40.You might be saying of course he is man but God and man! Most Christians would probably say the same thing, but did you know the Bible does not teach that Jesus was 100% God and 100% man? Contrary to popular belief Jesus never claimed to be God, his own disciples did not even think that He was God. Yeah, sure there are verses that seem to say differently, but do they? Are we taking scripture out of context? I believe most are doing just that. Many Bible believing students will quote scripture from just about every New Testament book accept one.                                                 THE BOOK OF ACTS I have heard the arguments; Acts is just transitional book. I would have to disagree with that statement for a reason. The Book of Acts is actually THE only book in the New Testament that contains the actua...

Do You Believe?

Image
Do you believe? that is in the Bible? Do you believe what the Bible says? Do you believe if we read something in the Bible that we should obey it? There is a lot of people who would say yes to the above questions, there is also a lot of people who would say yes and add their objectives. Which one are you? I would say for me personally that I would be one of the people that if I saw something in the Bible I would be one of those who would believe what I read.   Today subject is about the word "believe" and there are people who believe in the bible that it is the word of God and they will also say that they believe in Jesus Christ, and unfortunately, they believe that is all a person needs to do in order to be saved and go to heaven. While that may sound sincere, I believe (no pun) there is more to it if one desires to be saved and have eternal life with God. Did you know there were many people in the Acts 2:38New Testament of the Bible who "believed" in Jesus? We a...

For The Promises is Unto YOU

Dear reader friend, did you know you have a promise? It is an unclaimed promise if you have not claimed it. What is the promise? Acts 2:39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. GOD IS STILL CALLING TODAY 2026 The promise that God our Heavenly Father will give YOU is his Spirit! The same spirit that was poured out on the day of Pentecost. One of the last things Jesus told his disciples was to WAIT for the promise of my Father. It would be the greatest gift besides the son of God that God has ever given to mankind. Did you know that not only can you receive the Spirit of God, but it comes with proof that you received it?  Acts 2:1 - And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven ton...

God does not want your money!

Image
I cannot tell you how many people I have met that has little or nothing to do today with God because they tell me "Church is a business and all they want is money". While that's like it is true and sad to say it can be in some circles I am here to tell you that God does not need or want your money. In the New Testament scripture does speak about giving BUT it is out of the heart that man should give not out of necessity, plain and simple if you do not have anything to give then do not worry about it. I have always said Jesus did say to give, but why do people always think it is money? More importantly God wants YOU and YOUR heart He knows everything including your struggles and yes the money struggles to. It is unfortunate in our world people have been turned away over money and the misunderstanding some churches teach about money and the given OF money. Have you ever belonged to a church that they teach what is called the Tithe? Have you been told that if you do not pa...

Jesus is NOT Jehovah

Image
I to would like  share with you another dynamic article written by a brother and friend named RORY MOORE .I hope this article blesses you and may it cause you dig deep in the word of God. 1. Many Bibles use "LORD" in the Old Testament. It is translated from "YHVH ". In the original Hebrew, this is name for God, and there were no vowels. Your King James Version translated it to LORD, all caps. - a similar word "Lord" or "lord" is a title for a master, leader, owner, ruler. Sarah called Abraham "Lord". King David was called "Lord". Prophets were called "Lord". But not as GOD. -rather as masters. There are other names or nouns associated with GOD, however when GOD revealed Himself as "THE LORD GOD", HE is the ONE and only "Most High". Many of the other "names" for GOD regard His attributes and character. For years this confused me, and when we were in the church "system" we con...
