I cannot tell you how many people I have met that has little or nothing to do today with God because they tell me "Church is a business and all they want is money". While that's like it is true and sad to say it can be in some circles I am here to tell you that God does not need or want your money. In the New Testament scripture does speak about giving BUT it is out of the heart that man should give not out of necessity, plain and simple if you do not have anything to give then do not worry about it. I have always said Jesus did say to give, but why do people always think it is money? More importantly God wants YOU and YOUR heart He knows everything including your struggles and yes the money struggles to. It is unfortunate in our world people have been turned away over money and the misunderstanding some churches teach about money and the given OF money. Have you ever belonged to a church that they teach what is called the Tithe? Have you been told that if you do not pay your tithe that you will be cursed(raised my hand too) I once believed it like that myself until one day I found out that tithing is NOT a requirement taught in the New Testament of the bible and today I want to share with you yet another articles written by RORY MOORE.I hope it helps you.
In churches across the country, 10% of income-wages is a church rule and often required from members and staff.
However, the folks and even many pastors do not know that
tithing was an OLD Testament LAW, and we are under GRACE.
They try to mix the two, law and grace.
This is a great error with consequences.
Galatians 5:9
A little leaven leavens the whole lump.
Tithing was agriculture products according to God's LAW. Corrupt preachers pervert the lawfully defined tithe <Lev 27:30-32) into money tithes from income and wages.
It is evil and fosters greedy corruption, and the tithe-takers are led by Big Name TV ministries including those that "advise" President Trump.. Start with Paula White...

We REPENTED of tithing to follow Jesus in 2004 and our health greatly improved because we were no longer under the CURSE of the law, as Paul stated in Galatians.

If you tithe you are under a curse,
1. you have believed a lie.
2. You are obligated to keep ALL of the law if you keep part of it and thus Paul warned a church not to go to Old Testament.
The "curse" involves mental trouble, self-deceptions, idolatry, health issues, "accidents", people problems, family problems and more.
ALL the tithers we knew had problems and it was WORSE in the homes of the pastors. Incredibly worse. Law made them legalists contrary to the gospel, greed made them covetous, money tithes deceived them.
This included MY household also and looking back, I can recall the open door for satan to deceive and then afflict us.
We were ordained and in ministry, and we were personally aware of these and much more.
