For The Promises is Unto YOU

Dear reader friend, did you know you have a promise? It is an unclaimed promise if you have not claimed it. What is the promise?

Acts 2:39

For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

GOD IS STILL CALLING TODAY 2026

The promise that God our Heavenly Father will give YOU is his Spirit! The same spirit that was poured out on the day of Pentecost. One of the last things Jesus told his disciples was to WAIT for the promise of my Father. It would be the greatest gift besides the son of God that God has ever given to mankind. Did you know that not only can you receive the Spirit of God, but it comes with proof that you received it?

Acts 2:1-And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

5And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. 6Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language. 7And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans? 8And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born? 9Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia, 10Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes, 11Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God. 12And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this? 13Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.

While the onlookers accused of them of being drunk Peter preaches to them that THIS IS THAT! THIS is what the Prophet Joel said would occur in the last days(their last days not ours)it was the last days of that Old Covenant system that was expected to come to an end. Many have confused the "last days' with what they think is the "last days "of the planet earth today yet that is not true despite what you may have heard.

Joel 2:28-32-And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

29And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.

30And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.

31The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.

32And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

Peter reminded them what was foretold what was to come in the last days and he goes on to preach to them that THEY were the ones who were responsible for killing their Messiah. While you and me were not there back then and were part of that crime we today are just as guilty in the eyes of God because "all have sinned" and come short of the glory of God(Romans 3:23)

Acts 2:22-Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know: 23Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain: 24Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.

The crowd came under conviction and realized they just killed the man sent to die for them so they cried out. Men and brethren what MUST we do?

This should be the same question anyone should be asking IF we want to know how to be saved and become born again. Peter told them these words (Acts 2:38)

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Repent!

Be baptized everyone of you in Jesus name!

And YOU SHALL receive the Gift of the Holy Ghost!

Repent means turn around and stop sinning, believe Jesus was sent to die for you too and be water baptized not in the tittles of Father, Son and Holy Ghost but in the NAME OF JESUS as this is the practice recorded in the Book of Acts

Acts 2

Acts 8

Acts 10

Acts 19

Ask God to lead you to more of his truth in his word and believe YOU TOO can receive the glorious gift of His Spirit. Want to know more? Please feel free to reach out to me today.

God Bless in Jesus Name!
