Have You Spoke In Tongues?

 

Have you ever experienced receiving the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues?

The Apostle Paul asked this question to believers in Acts 19 1:6 KJV

And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples, 2He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. 3And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism. 4Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. 5When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied. 7And all the men were about twelve.

There are many today who never even heard about this gift that God promised to those who would believe, repent of all sin and be water baptized in Jesus' name! There are also many who have been told that it is NOT for today and this gift passed along with the Apostles. The problem is they have heard this false teaching so long it is hard to convince them otherwise but I am here to tell you that this gift is STILL available today and I am also hear to tell you those who are reading this that God made YOU a promise so why don't you take him at his word? Maybe you say "well when I accepted Christ I received the Holy Ghost" or I said the sinners prayer. While there may be no denying you accepted Christ and you were very sincere to God, but to be honest nobody in the Bible EVER received the Holy Ghost that way. I do not mean for that to sound harsh or come across in a mean way but I rather tell you the truth while I have your attention while reading my blog.

Acts 2:39-For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call! Did you read that clearly? Peter said to ALL WHO ARE AFAR OFF, even as many as the Lord our God shall call, that is YOU today reader friend in 2026.

John 7:37-39-

In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. 38He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. 39(But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

There were a lot of people who believed in Jesus before he ever died but they did not have the Holy Ghost baptism as the verse above explains, it was not yet given, Jesus was not yet glorified, He had to leave so he could come back to be IN them through the Spirit of God.

Don't settle for less, God is no respecter of persons, what he did for one He will do for others.
